Walter P. Wilson's professional career has been centered in Silicon Valley. Wilson began his professional career with Fairchild Semiconductor, as an early employee of Apple Computer, and as a member of the original Macintosh rollout team. He continued on to be an international business consultant in his role as Senior Vice President with the Computer Sciences Corporation. In this position, he was responsible for the development of new markets for his corporation in Asia, including Japan, Korea, China, Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Most recently, Wilson has co-founded Exclaim Technologies, a provider of Internet business services. Wilson has served as a senior executive with three Fortune 500 companies over his career and is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Exclaim Technologies, Inc. in San Jose, California.

His book, The Internet Church, addresses new rules for ministry in the age of the internet. The first is an imperative need to move from vision to implementation in order to remain relevant. This leads to the need to create strategic frameworks for new organizations without which they cannot achieve effectiveness, and finally, the need to leverage creative thinking. He anticipates focusing in on these needs as a member of Leadership Network's Board of Directors.
